Wash the lettuce leaves and boil water in a stainless steel pot at the same time.

When the water boils, prepare oyster sauce, light soy sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl in appropriate amounts. (Note: Oyster sauce is quite salty, so salt may not be needed.)

After the water boils vigorously, add a small amount of oil, then put in the lettuce, blanching it in the boiling water for 30 seconds. Immediately remove it from the pot. (Be quick! Remember to drain excess water from the lettuce.)

Add a small amount of the water used for blanching the lettuce to the bowl with seasonings, mix well, and pour it over the blanched lettuce to serve. (Best served hot!)
