Instructions

Wash the chicken wings clean and pat them dry. You can make two cuts on the front of the chicken wings to help the flavor penetrate.

Mix the fermented bean curd, fermented bean paste, cooking wine, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ginger strips, and garlic minced together. Try the sauce and adjust the flavor to your taste. The flavor of the fermented bean curd is very strong, so it’s better to be a bit salty.

This step was not photographed. Mix the chicken wings with the marinade, put them in a sealed bag, and refrigerate for a day and a night.

The next day, take out the chicken wings and place them on the grill. Take a little of the juice and mix it with honey and cool water. Use this mixture to brush the chicken wings, then put them in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius with upper and lower heat for 20 minutes. Take them out, brush them with the juice again, flip them over, and put them back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
