Braised Mix

Braised Mix

This savory and aromatic stir-fry combines tender five-flower pork, crisp green peppers, and fragrant ginger for a dish bursting with bold flavors. What makes this recipe special is the homemade chili sauce, adding a spicy depth without relying on store-bought hot pot bases. The pork is first stir-fried to lock in juices, then simmered with water to create a rich broth. Fresh ingredients are added and cooked gently over low heat, ensuring every bite is infused with flavor. A key step is soaking the potato starch beforehand, making it perfectly chewy and quick to cook. Finished with a touch of chicken essence, vinegar, and soy sauce, this dish strikes the ideal balance of spicy, tangy, and umami notes. Perfect with rice, this hearty stir-fry is a comforting yet vibrant meal that’s easy to prepare and packed with homemade goodness.
