Braised Potato

About This Recipe

Crispy, golden, and bursting with savory-sweet flavor, these Soy-Glazed Potatoes are an irresistible side dish or snack! Tender potato chunks are fried to perfection in oil until crispy, then coated in a luscious glaze made with sugar, soy sauce, and a touch of salt. The secret? A 1:2 salt-to-sugar ratio creates the perfect balance, while soy sauce adds depth and rich color. As the sauce thickens, the potatoes soak up every bit of umami goodness, resulting in a dish that’s crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender inside, and packed with bold flavor. Quick to make with just four simple ingredients, this recipe delivers maximum taste with minimal effort. Whether served as a side or enjoyed on its own, these glazed potatoes are a crowd-pleaser—perfectly caramelized, fragrant, and utterly addictive!
