Instructions

1. Step 1

Rinse the fresh Chinese hawthorn, remove the head, tail and core.

2. Step 2

Cut the agar into small pieces and soak them in warm water. Then, put the Chinese hawthorn and agar into a pot, add an appropriate amount of cold water, and boil over high heat until the Chinese hawthorn is cooked and the agar is dissolved.

3. Step 3

Mash the Chinese hawthorn into a paste, add rock sugar, and simmer over low heat for about half an hour.

4. Step 4

Pour into a mold or container and let it cool. The hawthorn cake is ready to eat after it is completely solidified.
