Country-Style Pork Ribs Soup

Country-Style Pork Ribs Soup

This hearty and nourishing pork rib soup is a comforting dish that combines tender ribs with wholesome vegetables for a rich, flavorful broth. The pork ribs and bones are first blanched to remove impurities, ensuring a clean, savory base. Simmered in a fragrant broth with crushed ginger and a hint of vinegar to enhance tenderness, the ribs become melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Sweet corn, carrots, and creamy mountain yam are added later, infusing the soup with natural sweetness and a satisfying texture. Slow-cooked to perfection in a cast iron pot, this soup delivers deep, layered flavors with minimal seasoning—just a touch of salt before serving lets the ingredients shine. Perfect for chilly days or when you crave a wholesome, homemade meal, this pork rib and vegetable soup is both nutritious and irresistibly delicious.
