Crystal Dumplings

These delicious Chinese sausage and glutinous rice dumplings are a savory delight, blending sticky rice with rich, umami-packed Chinese sausage and sweet carrots for a perfect bite. The glutinous rice is steamed until tender, then stir-fried with fragrant scallions, caramelized sausage, and soy sauce for deep flavor. Encased in a delicate, hand-crimped dough made from flour, water, and starch, each dumpling is shaped into a beautiful flower before steaming to perfection. The result is a tender, slightly chewy wrapper filled with a hearty, aromatic filling that’s both comforting and irresistible. Ideal for dim sum or a homemade snack, these dumplings are a must-try for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful bites.
