Diced Pepper Winter Melon

This savory Hang Pepper and Winter Melon Stir-Fry is a mouthwatering dish that combines tender five-flower pork, crisp winter melon, and the bold heat of Hang peppers for a perfectly balanced meal. The pork is first stir-fried with aromatic ginger, garlic, and thirteen spices, creating a rich base of flavors. The winter melon absorbs the savory essence while maintaining its delicate texture, enhanced by a touch of light soy sauce and cooking wine. A hint of rock sugar or caramelization adds a subtle sweetness, complementing the spicy kick of the Hang peppers. Finished with fresh scallions, this dish offers a delightful contrast of textures and tastes—spicy, savory, and slightly sweet. Quick to prepare yet deeply flavorful, it’s an irresistible stir-fry that brings warmth and satisfaction to any meal. Perfect with steamed rice for a comforting, home-cooked experience!
