Instructions

1. Step 1

Step 1
Prepare a papaya, cut it open along the 2/3 line, and remove the seeds and white membrane. For a more visually appealing presentation, the cut can be made into a zigzag shape. The cut-off part can be used as a lid.

2. Step 2

Step 2
Soak 6-7g of dried snow ear fungus in warm water for more than 12 hours, until it expands to several times its original size and becomes a crystalline white gel-like substance. After soaking, discard the water, and place the fungus in a large bowl. Add hot water and rock sugar, and stew over medium heat for 10 minutes.

3. Step 3

Step 3
Place the stewed snow ear fungus into the papaya bowl, cover it with the papaya lid, and put it in a large container. Steam over medium heat for 10 minutes, then serve the fungus and papaya together. Remember to use medium and low heat to preserve the nutritional components.
