Instructions

1. Step 1

Rinse the fresh hawthorn, remove the head, tail and core. Cut the agar into small pieces and soak them in warm water.

2. Step 2

Put the hawthorn and agar into a pot, add an appropriate amount of cold water, and boil over high heat until the hawthorn is cooked and the agar is dissolved.

3. Step 3

Mash the hawthorn into a pulp, add rock sugar, and simmer over low heat for about half an hour.

4. Step 4

Pour into a mold or container and let it cool. The hawthorn cake can be eaten after it is completely solidified.
