Homemade Liangfen

This refreshing and silky Q-Bomb Liangfen is a delightful Chinese cold noodle dish made with just two simple ingredients: pea starch and water. Perfect for hot summer days, this jelly-like delicacy is smooth, bouncy, and incredibly satisfying. The magic happens when the starch-water mixture transforms into a glossy, translucent jelly as it cooks—stirring ensures a perfectly even texture. Once cooled (or chilled for extra refreshment), it’s ready to be flipped out and served with your favorite savory or spicy sauces. What makes this recipe special is its simplicity and versatility—enjoy it cold with a tangy dressing, chili oil, or sesame sauce for a light yet addictive treat. Quick to prepare and endlessly customizable, this homemade liangfen is a must-try for anyone craving a cool, chewy, and utterly delicious snack!
