Marinated Pork Belly

Marinated Pork Belly

This savory and aromatic **Salted Meat and Bamboo Shoot Stew** is a comforting Chinese classic, combining rich flavors and tender textures for a truly satisfying meal. Featuring succulent salted meat, five-flower pork, and premium Jinhua ham, this dish is slowly simmered to perfection with fresh bamboo shoots, crisp lotus root, and fragrant aromatics like scallions, ginger, and Shaoxing wine. The key to its deep, umami-packed broth lies in blanching the meats to lock in juices before slow-cooking them to melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The bamboo shoots add a delightful crunch, while the lotus root soaks up the rich, savory essence of the broth. Finished with a sprinkle of fresh scallions, this hearty stew is perfect for warming up on chilly days or serving as a centerpiece at family gatherings. A true celebration of traditional flavors!
