Instructions

1. Step 1

Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into thin and long strips (the meat should be cut thinly so that it can be easily fried and cooked to a tender texture). Add a spoonful of cooking wine, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, and a small amount of cornstarch for marination. Let it marinate for a while.

2. Step 2

Step 2
Add an appropriate amount of barbecue sauce, about half a spoonful, but not too much as it can be too salty.

3. Step 3

Step 3
After adding all the seasonings, marinate for about 20 minutes. Then, thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving some space between each piece so that they can cook evenly.

4. Step 4

Step 4
Heat an appropriate amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. When the oil reaches 60% of its smoking point, add the skewered chicken and fry until cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to overheat the oil, as chicken breast can become tough if overcooked.

5. Step 5

Step 5
After frying, sprinkle some cumin powder over the chicken for extra flavor.

6. Step 6

Step 6
The dish is now ready to be served.
