Wash the Chinese yam and steam it in a pot. Since we are making two different dishes, we steam a larger quantity.

After steaming, peel the Chinese yam and mash it using a food processor or a spoon. Then, sift the mashed yam to make it finer. Add a little milk and salt to the sifted yam paste. The milk is added to make the yam paste smoother.

Pour the yam paste into a mold to shape it as desired. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Mix a few tablespoons of blueberry jam with one or two tablespoons of water, then pour it over the yam paste to serve.
