Prepare the ingredients, thaw and wash the chicken breast, and wash the vegetables.

Put cold water in a pot, add scallions, ginger, and a small amount of peppercorns, then add the chicken breast. Bring to a boil over high heat, then cook over low heat until the chicken is cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
