Instructions

1. Step 1

Wash the asparagus and remove the old stems for later use. Prepare a pot of ice water.

2. Step 2

Pour clear water into the pot and bring to a boil, add 2 drops of oil, put in the processed asparagus, blanch for 30-40 seconds and remove. Put the asparagus in ice water for a while and then remove and plate.

3. Step 3

Mix light soy sauce, sugar, chicken essence, salt, and a little water in a bowl, stir well and pour over the asparagus.

4. Step 4

Chop the ginger and garlic into fine pieces and sprinkle over the asparagus. Heat plant oil and sesame oil in the pot until 70% hot, then pour over the asparagus.

5. Step 5

Chop the small peppercorns into pieces and sprinkle over the asparagus, ready to serve.
