Instructions

1. Step 1

First, wash the crab clean and tie it up, then pour all the beer over it, letting it soak for about 10 minutes.

2. Step 2

After taking the crab out of the beer, place it with its belly up, which helps preserve the crab’s nutrients during steaming. Do not discard the beer used for soaking the crab. Use it directly for steaming without adding water, and steam over high heat after the water boils. Steam for 15 to 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes.

3. Step 3

While steaming the crab, prepare the dipping sauce by mincing ginger and mixing it with a small amount of brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. The crab is now ready to be served.
