- cornstarch 1 tbsp

Clean the fish and cut open its belly, cut the green onion into strips and set aside for decoration, flatten the garlic, and cut the ginger into strips or use sliced ginger directly.

Cut a flower pattern on both sides of the fish, then apply salt powder evenly on both sides.

Prepare a bowl, mix one spoonful of cornstarch, add some peanut oil, light soy sauce, and water, stir well and set aside.

Heat a wok with oil, add the fish and fry briefly on both sides.
